Information Technology (IT) continues to drive rapid productivity growth and structural changes in the economy. Topics include what IT is, and how companies can use IT to improve business processes, enhance customer services, and gain competitive advantage over rivals.

Sanjoy Moulik

Sanjoy Moulik received the BS degree in Computer Science from California State University Northridge, and MBA from the Graziadio School of Business And Management, Pepperdine University, Malibu, California. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the School of Information Systems and Technology, Claremont Graduate University.

Mr. Moulik is a Management Consultant with CAL2CAL Corporation and works with diverse clients from Fortune 500 to governments – both domestic and international, in the areas of Health Informatics and Strategy. Internally, he directs all engagements with key clients, redefine organizational structures, oversee major pricing decisions, and perform monthly financial evaluations of company results. Mr. Moulik also provides cross-functional management and direct Country Managers.

In the early part of 2001 he was given specific responsibility to take charge and turn around the company still in red after the dot-com bust and subsequent 9-11 downturn, with charter to lead operational efficiency efforts, restructure financing, and ignite sales activity. Under his astute leadership, the company broke even within 6 months, and produced operating profit within 15 months.

His current focus is in the areas of emerging technology trends and globalization, and alignment of IT Strategy to take advantage of these trends.

He is an avid reader and photographer, and maintains a blog at Sanjoym.posterous.com.

Mr. Moulik is also a member of the following technical and strategic associations: Association of Strategic Planning, TechBiz Connection, and Pepperdine Waves - Orange County chapter.
