Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences 121: Climate Solutions, A&O SCI 121
Lecture, three hours; discussion, one hour. Requisite: course 1 or 2 or 3 or M100. Critical survey of potential strategies to address climate change, including solutions in infrastructure, transportation, energy, waste, and agricultural sectors, as well as geoengineering. Exploration of roles of communication, equity, religion, social change, and education in mitigating climate change. P/NP or letter grading.
